Trevino Lifts Bumblebees to 7-3 Triumph
|
With right fielder Roberto Trevino leading the charge, the Pasadena Bumblebees defeated the Omaha Raptors, 7-3, at The Hole. Trevino, who is tied for 9th in the BCL with a .388 on-base percentage, belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. The first-place Bumblebees, at 91-58, now lead their division by 8˝ games.
Trevino had a critical at-bat in the bottom of the sixth for Pasadena, coming through with a 3-run home run to put Pasadena in front, 6-3.
Trevino called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
