The Minneapolis Freeze downed the Bronx Bombers, 11-7, at Bronx Ballpark. The Freeze were led by Shimpei Fujita, who captured player of the game honors. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. The Freeze now have a record of 70-75.

Fujita contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the seventh. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped Minneapolis get the win.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Fujita.
