Raptors Rally to Eke Out Win
Chicago first baseman César Carrego pounded Omaha Raptors pitchers at Anchorage Municipal Stadium, but it was not enough to keep the Titans from falling, 9-8. Carrego went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. With the win over Chicago, the Raptors improved to 59-87.

Tied up with the Titans in the bottom of the tenth, the Raptors got a boost from left fielder Bob O'Moriartie. With runners on 1st and 3rd, O'Moriartie saw a full count fastball from Jason Hunter and hit a run-scoring double to break the stalemate and put Omaha on top, 9-8.

"This kind of game is tough on the heart," said winning manager António Chávez.
