Canadians Walk It Off for 80th Win of Season
In a close game at Stanley Park, the Vancouver Canadians edged the Detroit Death Stars, 5-4. Vancouver designated hitter Xun Juan earned the nod as player of the game. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. With the win, the Canadians have a record of 80-67.

Juan Manuel was the walk-off hero for Vancouver. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Vancouver left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Manuel said.
