The Detroit Death Stars beat the Omaha Raptors, 4-1, at The Death Star. Detroit shortstop Sagramor Vob earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 2-4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win was credited to Lorenzo Ortega in relief. His record improves to 7-4. Esteban Torres took the loss. Benny Hartley earned the save, his 9th, for the Death Stars.

The Death Stars took the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the sixth. Vob had the clutch at-bat. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run double.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Vob.
