Pasadena starter Hidetada Abe kept the Bronx hitters in check, helping his team cruise to a 10-2 win. Abe went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 9. His record improves to 13-6. The first-place Bumblebees, at 86-55, now lead their division by 8 games.
