The Billings Mustangs defeated the Detroit Death Stars, 7-3, in Blake Camden League action at Cobb Field, with Billings left fielder Xing-peng Ran named player of the game. Billings currently is in first place in the Blake Camden League B.J. Birdie League at 82-57.

Jack McDonald could have done more damage. In the top of the seventh, with Detroit trailing 7-1, Detroit had the bases loaded. That's when McDonald hit a sacrifice fly. But it was not enough. Billings would go on to win the game.
