Tight Tilt Goes to Titans, 3-2
|
The Chicago Titans faced a tough opponent in Pasadena pitcher Tae-geun Cho, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The War Dome by a final score of 3-2. Cho went 6 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The winner was Chicago reliever Millard Dixon, now 7-4. The loser was Baltwin Baars. Chicago is in 4th place in the Blake Camden League B.J. Birdie League with a record of 66-72.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, second baseman Jaswant Ghosal came through big-time for the Titans. With Chicago trailing 2-1, he belted a solo home run.
"I really like what we did out there today," Ghosal said after the game.
