Detroit left fielder Manuel Aguilar had a 6-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Pasadena Bumblebees, 8-5. Lorenzo Ortega converted his 3rd save in 4 tries. The Death Stars, at 77-58, sit in second place in the Blake Camden League Youppi Division.

Aguilar contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Detroit in the top of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Aguilar took a curveball from Ji Sheng and stroked the home run to right-center. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Death Stars to leap in front, 3-1.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Aguilar told the Detroit News.
