The Victoria Vikings picked up a win at The drakkar, knocking off the San Angelo Mustangs, 4-1. Starting pitcher Yoshimochi Chikuda played a key role in the triumph. Chikuda went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 3, and struck out 8. His record improves to 8-8. The Vikings now own a record of 58-62.
With one out in the bottom of the sixth, Lee Cong stroked a go-ahead run-scoring single. It was his 36th hit of the season and put Victoria in front, 2-1.
