Pitcher Jim Unknown was sensational for the Pasadena Bumblebees in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Joplin Fireballs. Unknown received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Unknown got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 4 hits and walked 3 over 7.2 innings. Unknown allowed 1 earned run. Jim Unknown got credit for the save for Pasadena. It was his 1st of the year.
