Nomura Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Minneapolis in Walk-Off Win
|
The Minneapolis Freeze downed the Astoria Argonauts, 5-3, in 10 innings. Yodo Nomura led the way, going 3-for-3 for Minneapolis. The win puts the Freeze at 59-70, while the Argonauts drop to 68-61.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Nomura hit a curveball from Kyuso Hara for a 2-run home run. The Freeze, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"This place was rockin'," Nomura said.
