Flores, Canadians Too Much for Bombers
Roberto Flores added some punch to the Vancouver offense, helping them outmuscle the Bronx Bombers, 10-7. In the game, Flores was 3-3 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Hou-kang Li earned his 2nd save in 2 tries. The Canadians now have a record of 67-57.

Horiuchi Rin's at-bat in the bottom of the fifth was significant for the Canadians. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Vancouver leading 7-6, the second baseman grounded out, driving in 1 run.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Rin told the Vancouver Daily. "It's as simple as that."
