Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Lights
Phoenix center fielder Senichi Nii picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Wichita Wolverines, 5-4. At 73-47, the Lights are currently second in the Ford Frick League Billy the Marlin Division.

Coming to the plate with no one out in the bottom of the tenth inning, Phoenix first baseman Juan Villa had a chance to be the hero. Facing Wichita pitcher José Santos with runners on 1st and 3rd, Villa hit a walk-off run-scoring single.

Villa said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
