The Wichita Wolverines wiggled past the Phoenix Lights, 4-3, at UFO Field. Wichita pitcher Jin-ho Chin earned player of the game honors. The Phoenix losing streak has now reached 4 games.

This game was not decided until Stanley Harvey came to bat in the top of the 11th. With a runner on 2nd and one out, the Wichita third baseman hit a run-scoring single. The Wolverines took the lead, 4-3.

"This kind of game is tough on the heart," said winning manager Clyde Bowman.
