Fans who gathered at Metroplex Park saw a good contest between the Duke City Danger and Dallas Texans.
Benefiting from Bill McIntyre's productive game, the Duke City Danger downed the Dallas Texans, 5-4. McIntyre was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Danger. The Danger, with only their 2nd win in 8 games, have not had much to write home about in 2028.
Had Tim McCreary not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 3rd, McCreary hit a 2-run home run. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Danger.
"It was a good effort all around," said McCreary.
