The Billings Mustangs got a magnificent effort from pitcher Robert McLaughlin, who kept Vancouver hitters in check en route to a 1-0 Mustangs win at Cobb Field. The third-place Canadians have dropped 4 straight games.

McLaughlin, who leaned on his fastball, allowed no runs on just 3 hits over 7 innings for the Mustangs. For the most part, Vancouver hitters were simply overmatched.

"There was no wiggle room in this one," said McLaughlin.
