Duke City rode a good effort from starter Elvis Callahan to beat the Bloomington Blazers at The Danger Zone. The final score was 4-2. Aaron Taylor finished to wrap up his 4th save. The Blazers, at 25-46, have lost 4 in a row.

The Duke City triumph was a team effort. Not least among the contributors was Mike Davis. In the bottom of the second, the Duke City first baseman hit a 2-run triple. It staked his team to a 3-1 lead.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Davis told the Duke City Daily.
