The Texans grabbed a win, 6-4, at Field de Los Layendas, overcoming a fine effort from Cabo San Lucas pitcher Luis Sánchez. Sánchez went 7 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Bahadur Rangaraj got credit for the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. The Texans saw their record improve to 32-39.

Ramón Castillo made it 6-4 in favor of Dallas when he delivered a 2-run home run. It came with no one out in the top of the 11th. The Texans went on to win.
