Skipper Quintana Is out in Yokohama Friday, May 21st, 2027 In an expected move, the Yokohama Bay Stars fired manager Javier Quintana today. The team had not been performing up to expectations and it was just a matter of time before the move was made. "We've decided to go in a different direction," Yokohama's general manager explained to the assembled press. "We'd like to thank Javier for his service and wish him well in the future." The organization has been mum on possible candidates for the position, but expect to name a replacement soon. Taking over on an interim basis will be the club's pitching coach. |
