Central League Names Kuroki Best Batter Monday, April 12th, 2027 Hiroya Kuroki has been in a real groove lately. The 19-year-old Tokyo Yakult Swallows second baseman nabbed Central League Player of the Week honors today after beating up on opposing pitchers all last week. Kuroki's hot streak featured 10 hits in 22 at-bats, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs, 9 runs scored and a .455 average. So far this year Kuroki has 10 home runs and a .311 batting average. |
