Lester B. Person League West Division Title Goes to Capitals Friday, May 14th, 2027 It's a good day to be a fan of the Victoria Capitals, as the club has won the Lester B. Person League West Division - by the slimmest of margins. "It makes it that much sweeter to win the thing by only a game," said starting pitcher Ju-ao Ru. "It easily could have gone the other way, but we're all pretty happy that wasn't the case." Capitals players stayed in the clubhouse late into the night celebrating the victory, which was earned on the strength of the team's 31-25 record. It is the 3rd Lester B. Person League West Division title in Capitals history. Victoria will now be vying for its 3rd CANADIAN BASEBALL LEAGUE championship. |
