Niagara Narrowly Wins Lester B. Person League East Division Friday, May 14th, 2027 The Niagara Stars have held off the opposition and are Lester B. Person League East Division champions. It was certainly no easy task as the club had a tough challenge for the division crown throughout the year, but in the end they have prevailed for the franchise's 5th division title. "You can't get complacent when the standings are as close as they are, so our guys have been pretty focused," manager Orlando Martínez said of his team's triumph. "We're going to celebrate this one, that's for sure." The club will be going for its 2nd Lester B. Person Cup and optimism is running high. "Why not us? We can certainly win this thing," said starting pitcher Dave Munier. |
