Monarchs Snap Chaulk's Streak at 25
Wednesday, April 21st, 2027
Kelowna center fielder Frank Chaulk experienced something against the London Monarchs he hadn't experienced in his last 25 games: a hitless game. The Monarchs pitching corps quieted his hot bat and snapped his streak, but his teammates picked up the slack to lead the Heat to a 7-0 victory at Brantford College Grounds.

"Hey, ain't nothin' bad about a losing a 25-game hitting streak. Now you sportswriters will have to find someone else to bother for stories," Chaulk kiddingly told them after the game.

This season Chaulk is batting .299 with 9 home runs. His totals include 38 RBIs and 34 runs scored.
