Top RDL Pitcher Announced Wednesday, June 9th, 2027 The Cy Young Award for 2027 has been presented and the Rod Dedeaux League winner is Dan Thompson of Fresno State. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Thompson. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Bulldogs star told reporters. Thompson excelled with an impressive 5-0 record in 12 starts. In 70.1 innings he yielded 39 hits and 29 walks, while striking out 78 and compiling a fine 1.15 ERA. Dominic Smith of the Texas A&M Aggies finished second in voting, while Pat Glass of the Arizona Wildcats finished third. |
