SBL Gives Best Pitcher Award Wednesday, June 9th, 2027 The Georgia clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Mike Bunch will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2027 Skip Bertman League Cy Young Award. Bunch made 10 starts this year, winning 7 and losing 1. He threw 59.2 innings, fanned 81, allowed 35 hits and 17 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .171 average as he logged an impressive 2.11 ERA. Raymond Riley of the Miami Hurricanes finished second in voting, while Larry Greer of the Vanderbilt Commodores finished third. |
