Arizona State Reliever Out Thursday, May 13th, 2027 Barney Pugh expressed his disappointment when he learned that a fractured elbow would sideline him for 7-8 months. "I'll just spend a lot of time in the training room and hopefully speed up the healing process. Nobody likes to be out of the line-up," explained Pugh. The reliever got hurt in today's game with the Rice Owls. He was hurt throwing a pitch. Team officials had no comment on his roster replacement. During this season Pugh has 24 relief appearances and registered 0 saves. Batters are hitting him at a .242 rate and his season record is 4-1 with a 3.54 ERA. He has logged 40.2 innings and struck out 46. |
