Hurricanes Chill Burt's Hot Streak Tuesday, May 11th, 2027 The Tennessee Volunteers lost to the Miami Hurricanes 9-1 today at Madera College Grounds, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Johnny Burt's 21-game hitting streak. "We felt if we could slow down Burt, we would win the game," the Hurricanes manager explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down."
