Bailey Sticks it to RDL Pitchers Monday, May 10th, 2027 A hot-hitting week got Tom Bailey the Rod Dedeaux League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Long Beach State first baseman slammed them for a .552 average, 16 hits in 29 at-bats, 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and scored 11 runs. In the postgame press conference, Bailey shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." In 37 games Bailey is hitting .377 this season with 60 hits, 10 home runs, 37 RBIs, 21 walks, .451 OBP and has scored 32 runs. |
