Star of the Week Selected in SBL Monday, May 3rd, 2027 The South Illinois Salukis received word today that first baseman Larry Sloan was selected Skip Bertman League Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games. Sloan took full advantage of all 28 plate appearances last week as he hit .522 with 12 hits, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This season Sloan is hitting at a .261 pace with 9 home runs, 17 RBIs and has scored 21 times. |
