Bad News for South Carolina, Sutherland Injured Saturday, May 1st, 2027 Gamecocks reliever Bill Sutherland was hurt throwing a pitch during today's Jayhawks game and suffered shoulder inflammation. He will be laid up about 6 months. To this point in the season, Sutherland has put up these figures: 3-1 record, 11 relief appearances with 15.2 innings, no saves, 24 strikeouts, 15 walks and a 5.74 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .228 batting average. |
