Big Day with Bat: Wolfe 5-for-6 Tuesday, April 27th, 2027 There are moments in a player's career that are etched into their memories forever. Kelvin Wolfe of the North Carolina Tar Heels had one of those moments when he went 5 for 6 at the plate today in the 15-4 win over the South Illinois Salukis at Bruisers Ballpark. The 19-year-old shortstop told reporters in the postgame interview, "This is a day I won't forget soon, but I'll settle to just get a hit or two every day... enough hits to hang around the league a little bit longer... like 10... 15 more years maybe." Kelvin Wolfe singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. So far this year Wolfe is batting .223 with 3 home runs. |
