Stanford Reliever Out
Sunday, April 25th, 2027
Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Rice Owls, Cardinals reliever Reese Webb was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 5 months with a ruptured finger tendon. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Stanford skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow.

So far this season Webb is 0-and-1 with no saves and a 1.66 ERA. He has given up 12 hits in 21.2 innings with 19 strikeouts.
