Terry and Mason Suspended 4 Games Sunday, April 25th, 2027 At a recent Gators-Sooners contest at Ballpark of Bismarck College, Nelson Terry of Florida took exception to what Coy Mason of Oklahoma said to him and tackled him. This led to an old-fashioned bench-clearing free-for-all between the two clubs. After the umpires restored order, they ejected both players. Today the league commissioner's office took action and suspended each player for 4 games, citing them for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct." Thus far this year Terry is hitting .340 with 3 home runs, 22 RBIs and 12 runs scored. Currently Mason has a record of 0-2 with 17 strikeouts and 14 walks in 19.1 innings and a 6.05 ERA. |
