Green Wave Harper Suffers Injury Sunday, April 18th, 2027 Watching Adam Harper getting helped off the field today at Berthoud College Grounds, fans of the Tulane Green Wave feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the catcher will miss 10 months with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Harper suffered the injury running the bases in the game against the Rebels. During the current season Harper is batting at a .324 clip with 1 home run and 8 RBIs. He has played in 17 games and scored 7 times. |
