Simon Raps West Virginia for 5 Hits Saturday, October 9th, 2027 Éric Simon had an answer for everything the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws threw him today in the Westside 7-6 triumph at Road Warriors Field. He made good contact 5 times and 5 times he drilled the ball for a base hit. The Westside catcher went 5 for 8 in the game to put his name in the record book. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Simon said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Éric Simon singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 6th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th, struck out in the 11th, hit an RBI triple in the 14th and hit an RBI single in the 16th. On the year Simon is hitting .274 with 69 hits, 7 home runs, 38 RBIs, .347 OBP and has scored 45 runs. |
