Harvey Goes on Rampage Against ValleyCats Monday, August 30th, 2027 It was a hits blitz for Stanley Harvey at Grand Canyon Valley Park. The San Angelo Mustangs third baseman tore into Grand Canyon for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. But it wasn't enough to win the game. The Grand Canyon ValleyCats swept past the Mustangs 11-7 to ruin the day for him. The San Angelo manager bemoaned his pitching, saying, "We fell behind and weren't locating well. Once you get behind in the count, you have to make real good pitches, rather than good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today. Bad location was the story of the ballgame. That's why we lost the game. The ValleyCats got too many good looks today, and we paid for it." Stanley Harvey struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and doubled in the 9th. Harvey is hitting .266 so far this season with 24 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has 58 hits including 2 home runs, 33 walks and .364 OBP. |
