Kogawa Socks it to Bush Wackers, Cracks 5 Hits Sunday, July 11th, 2027 It was a great day for him at Baylor Ballpark, but not a good day for his team. Rintaro Kogawa of the Eagles was unstoppable in today's 7-5 loss to the Brisbane Bush Wackers. "Boy, I was on the mark today," the Whitewater right fielder said after the game. "All I had to do was swing, and I connected. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-5 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will. Losing the game is disappointing, but my hits at least gave us a chance." Rintaro Kogawa hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. To date this year Kogawa is batting .311 with 2 home runs. |
