The 18-year-old right fielder helped lift Westside to a 11-0 win over the Austin Hipsters today at Hipster Grounds. Zabel smacked 5 hits in 6 at-bats to spark his club to victory. Gerd Zabel hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th. Zabel is hitting at a .313 mark this season. His stats show 6 home runs, 31 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has played 40 games for the Road Warriors. |
