Bad News for Springfield, Yamasaki Jr. Injured Tuesday, May 4th, 2027 Earlier today, Springfield starting pitcher Kazutoshi Yamasaki Jr. had to leave the game against Brisbane because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has ulnar nerve irritation and will miss 4 months of play. Yamasaki Jr. was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. This year Yamasaki Jr. has a 1-1 record with a 1.95 ERA. |
