Jason Corcoran Nabs Best Player Trophy Monday, October 25th, 2027 Jason Corcoran took DOUBLE A by storm this year and he did it all at the age of 21. For his spectacular campaign, the Phoenix Lights star has been named the 2027 Ford Frick League Silver Slugger Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is pretty overwhelming," said the third baseman. On the season he compiled a .336 batting average to go with a .474 on-base percentage. The native of Napierville, Canada also added 21 doubles, 11 triples, 16 home runs, 83 RBIs and 104 runs scored. Jorge Mota of the Carson City Mustang finished second in voting, while Ovídio Roger of the Rock River Rats finished third. |
