Ducks Star Receives Cy Young Award Sunday, October 24th, 2027 The Cy Young Award for 2027 has been presented and the Alexander Cartwright League winner is Roberto Gonzáles of Wisconsin Dells. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Gonzáles. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Ducks star told reporters. Gonzáles excelled with an impressive 18-2 record in 31 starts. In 194.1 innings he yielded 148 hits and 62 walks, while striking out 214 and compiling a fine 2.64 ERA. Paul Simpson of the Fairfax Foxes finished second in voting, while Ahilocana Keyush of the Riverside Red Bulls finished third. |
