FFL Star of the Week Honored Monday, September 27th, 2027 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Ford Frick League, but last week Jaswant Ghosal of the Phoenix Lights reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Ghosal rocked opposing pitching for a .444 average (8-for-18), 5 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Ghosal has delivered 118 hits in 488 at-bats for a .242 average with 25 home runs. He is getting on base at a .403 clip and his totals also include 81 RBIs and 100 runs scored. This year Ghosal has played in 146 games. |
