Gabriel Goes 5-for-6 Monday, September 6th, 2027 San Antonio second baseman Alejandro Gabriel put on quite a show at The Kennel with a big 5-hit day in the 20-9 victory over the Spokane Bulldogs. In the postgame interview, he said with a smile, "Not a bad day at the plate, 5 for 6.. Wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average ... and my salary, too." Alejandro Gabriel tripled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, walked in the 7th, grounded out in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Posting a .306 batting average to date, Gabriel has 5 home runs and 25 RBIs. |
