Ch'oe Pounds FFL Pitchers This Week Monday, September 6th, 2027 21-year-old Cheol-chung Ch'oe made a few Carson City headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Ford Frick League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 8 hits in 18 at-bats to put up a .444 average. Ch'oe collected 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 4 runs. This season Ch'oe is batting .286 with 19 home runs. He has scored 85 runs and driven in 75. |
