Bulldogs Hitoshi Ono Wins FFL Award Monday, August 16th, 2027 21-year-old Hitoshi Ono made a few Spokane headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Ford Frick League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 16 at-bats to put up a .625 average. Ono collected 1 home run, 4 RBIs and scored 2 runs. In the current season, Ono has put up a .268 batting average with 66 hits, 4 home runs, 28 RBI and scored 32 runs. |
