Bad News for Killeen, Pat Jackson Hurt Saturday, August 14th, 2027 It took the Killeen team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Pat Jackson won't simply play through a damaged elbow ligament after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Goers-Black Knights game. At first, it looked like Jackson might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 12 months. His record for the year is 4-6 in 14 starts and Jackson has a 5.90 ERA. |
