Long Island Reliever Hurt Wednesday, August 11th, 2027 Long Island Ducks reliever Bruce Klein left yesterday's game against the New York Ninjas after suffering bone chips in his elbow throwing a pitch. Klein was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Klein is expected to miss 9 months. This season Klein has been credited with 1 save. In 37 relief appearances and 51 innings he has a 3-1 won-lost mark, a 3.18 ERA and 46 strikeouts. |
