Bad News for Newark, Oxinos Injured Sunday, July 18th, 2027 The Newark Jail Birds will lose the services of third baseman Sofronio Oxinos after he sustained a torn labrum while colliding with a player at a base in today's game against the Fairfax Foxes. "I'll get through it," Oxinos said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 9-10 months.
