Zhou Week's #1 Player Monday, June 28th, 2027 21-year-old Xiao-xuan Zhou made a few Spokane headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Ford Frick League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 7 hits in 13 at-bats to put up a .538 average. Zhou collected 1 home run, 6 RBIs and scored 2 runs. This season Zhou is swinging the bat at a .295 rate with 76 hits in 258 at-bats. To date he has hit 12 home runs, scored 43 runs and driven in 37. |
